I'm sure most of you have used online dating at least once in your life. If you're a guy I’m sure the never getting replies turned you off. For the women I’m sure it boiled down to a bunch of pigs asking for nude pictures of you or worse. So then why the fuck do you keep signing up? Do you think all the douches and whores closed down there accounts? No you fucking fuck, they didn’t. Get A Life!
So you signed up for your online dating account. You start filling out your profile. Under the “about me” if your a guy you would put: “Hi I'm Jeff. I'm a down to earth (insert subculture here) guy. I enjoy long walks on the beach and cooking dinner for my lucky lady. (more like he enjoys being a sports junky inbred)”. If you're a women you would more then likely put: “I'm Megan. First off I just wanna say I'm not into drama! Second I'm not here for a booty call! (we all know when they say this it actually means they want drama and a hook up) So I'm into music, movies, and shopping. I am very fit so I expect you to be too! (fat girl in the picture). For a date we could go to the movies or the mall your choice!”. Now let me make this clear. You both are full of fucking shit! I mean, who doesn’t like music? A fucking rock?
So now that you filled out your “about me”, its time to start looking for your future dead beat baby daddy/cheating housewife! You flick through the locals tab and you see someone cute, so you go to there profile. Your reading....Oh there it is they don't like people with (random feature). Well on to the next. Oh this person looks interesting let me message them. So you send them a message. “Hi hows it going? You look interesting!”. And then it pops up with a message saying you must write more to send a message. So do people actually think requiring someone to send a longer message helps anything? I mean, I wouldn’t walk up to someone and say a whole paragraph of information before I talked to them for the first time. Would you?
The idea of online dating sounds like a good idea, but in reality is not. Its an excuse for people to feel empowerment. On dating sites 10% want the attention, 30% want the empowerment of turning people down, 50% want to hook up and maybe even lie to themselves about it, The other 10% actually want a relationship. So unless your looking to hook up or get talked too like an asshole/bitch just stick to talking to people at the grocery store.
